Our Favorite Online Breastfeeding Resources

Breastfeeding might be natural, but that doesn’t mean it comes naturally. Breastfeeding is a skill that you and your baby will need to learn and practice. Even if you have breastfed before, each baby will be different.

In addition to the practical parts of breastfeeding, you may always want to know about what common over-the-counter medications are safe to take when breastfeeding, how to store breastmilk, how to get your baby to take a bottle, or what foods you should avoid when breastfeeding.

The internet is vast and full of information on every topic you could ever want to know. That vastness can also make it challenging to sort through the abundance of information and find the best evidence-based and up-to-date info about breastfeeding.

To help, we have compiled a list of our favorite online resources for breastfeeding and chestfeeding parents in the United States. We recommend you bookmark this post so you can come back when you have questions or run into an infant feeding challenge!
